Preserving Legacies.
Powering The Future.

Heritage Automation Partners is building a different kind of automation platform — one rooted in people, relationships, and long-term stewardship. We partner with legacy automation businesses to help them grow without losing who they are.

Heritage Automation Partners

The automation industry is at an inflection point.

For decades, consolidation has reshaped electrical and industrial markets. Automation, however, remains different. Too often, large corporations and private equity firms acquire automation businesses only to absorb them into broader portfolios—stripping away focus, culture, and local expertise. What follows is familiar: loss of identity, disengaged teams, weakened customer relationships, and shrinking businesses.

At the same time, short-term investment strategies have pushed many local and regional automation distributors—the backbone of the industry—out of the market. In the process, generations of hard work, trust, and community presence are disappearing.

We believe automation is, and always will be, a people business. Trust matters. Relationships matter. How you treat customers, employees, and partners matters.

How We Partner for the Long Term

Our Investment Philosophy

Our investment philosophy reflects how we partner with automation businesses in practice—not just in principle.

Built for Long-Term Strength
We maintain a strong balance sheet and low leverage so our partners can invest through cycles and grow with confidence.
Flexible, Owner-Aligned Structures
We are not constrained by rigid corporate models or outside investor timelines. We work with owners to create partnership structures that align with shared goals.
Value Creation Through Operations
We focus on organic growth, operational improvement, and customer value—not financial engineering or volume-driven M&A.
Continued Investment Beyond Close
Our partnership doesn’t end at signing. We continue investing in people, infrastructure, and growth initiatives to support long-term success.

President & CEO

Why did you feel this platform needed to exist?
Because too many great automation businesses were being forced into models that didn’t respect the industry or the people who built them. Automation requires focus, operational depth, and long-term alignment — it’s a specialized, engineering-driven business built on trust, not just transactions.
What did your past experiences teach you about consolidation?
That scale and capital matter — but only when paired with discipline, culture, and leadership that understands the business at the ground level and has lived the responsibility of ownership.
What makes Heritage different from traditional roll-ups?
We are operator-led, not financially engineered. Our model is disciplined, our timeline is generational, and our goal is to grow — not flip — great automation businesses.
What is the core belief driving Heritage?
That automation deserves a dedicated national platform built specifically for this industry — by people who know it, respect it, and plan to be here long-term.

Our goal is clear: to build the leading automation-focused distribution and assembly platform in the United States — without sacrificing the people, culture, or legacies that make these businesses great.
